Q: “So how did you guys get your
nicknames?”
Cash: With
names like Duane and Todd, no one has ever been able to spell them correctly.
We once showed up at book signing only to see a beautiful sign in the front
saying, “Welcome Wayne and Tod”
Carry: I guess
that’s when we decided nicknames might be a good idea. One day while
writing the column, we happen to use the phrase "Cash and Carry". The names
have stuck with us ever since.
Cash: They’re definitely
better than the nicknames Mom and Dad had for us as kids; “Stop
that!” and “Leave your brother alone!” |
